 | | About | |
As the name implies, Rcpproxy is a proxy, a XML-RPC proxy to be precise.
Its sole purpose is to help DHTML scripters to overcome client-side security restrictions
when using Mozílla's XMLHttpRequest and MS Internet Explorer's 5+ Microsoft.XMLHTTP
interfaces to access remotely hosted RPC-services.
| | |
Rpcproxy is written in PERL and uses only modules available in standard PERL distribution
and should run under any CGI enabled HTTP-server.
- On the fly gzip compression.
- NCSA extended/Apache combined compliant access logging.
- Automatic remote exception-fallbacks
